So you feel lost.
Not the kind of lost where you took a wrong turn. The kind where you’re not even sure there was ever a right one.
You’re not alone in this. Most people feel it at some point - that creeping sense that everyone else got a manual you never received. That you’re supposed to want things you don’t want, or that you want things you’re not supposed to want, or that you have no idea what you want at all.
This feeling is more common than anyone admits. We just don’t talk about it because admitting you’re lost feels like admitting you’ve failed.
You haven’t failed. You’ve just started paying attention.
What this place is
Section titled “What this place is”This is a collection of ideas, frameworks, and honest observations about being human. It’s not a program to follow or a system to adopt. There’s no certification at the end.
Think of it as a conversation with someone who’s also trying to figure it out - because that’s what it is. I don’t have answers. I have questions I’ve sat with, and some thoughts that have helped me.
How to use this site
Section titled “How to use this site”There’s no right order. Start wherever feels relevant:
If you don’t know who you are anymore: Start with Identity. It’s about the difference between who you are and who you think you should be.
If you don’t know what you want: Start with Values. Not the values you were taught to have, but the ones that actually drive you.
If you’re paralyzed by decisions: Start with Decisions. Sometimes the problem isn’t choosing wrong - it’s the fear of choosing at all.
If you feel behind in life: Read about Comparison. Spoiler: the race you think you’re losing doesn’t exist.
If you feel like you’re faking it: Read about Impostor Syndrome. Almost everyone feels this. The ones who don’t are usually the problem.
If you’re stuck in your head: Start with Uncertainty. Learning to live with not knowing is a skill nobody teaches.
If you need something practical: The Skills section covers career, money, health, relationships, and habits. Sometimes you need philosophy. Sometimes you need to fix your sleep schedule.
A note on tone
Section titled “A note on tone”Some of this will be practical and direct. Some will be philosophical and meandering. Some will be personal.
I’m not trying to be consistent. Life isn’t consistent. The way you think about purpose isn’t the same as the way you think about budgeting, and it shouldn’t be written the same way.
One more thing
Section titled “One more thing”You might be looking for permission to feel lost. Consider it granted.
Being lost isn’t a problem to solve immediately. It’s information. It means the path you were on wasn’t working. That’s valuable. Most people ignore that feeling until they can’t anymore.
You’re listening to it. That’s the first step, even if you don’t know what the second one is yet.
Take your time here. There’s no rush.
